Carbon Calculations are part of our Professional subscription plan.
The Carbon calculator has been developed to allow you to quickly explore the carbon impacts for your project. You can use this as a quick way to assess different building types, materials and glazing systems. The calculator combines both model data and defined building properties.
The calculation is to provide guidance and should not be considered a comprehensive carbon calculation.
Carbon Calculator
You can access the Carbon Calculator in the Reports View, by selecting from the Report Menu:
When you first open the report you will see a list of the buildings in your current project.
For each building you can click edit and then update the Type, Materials and Glazing Percentage:
Once you have assigned the correct properties, click the Calculate button to see the results.
You can change the building properties and re-calculate to see the effect of these changes on the overall result.
High-rise / Low-rise
The building types include a mix of high- and low- rise.
For reference Low-rise is considered 1-5 Stories, while High-rise is 6+
