Home [Project] View
When you start Codesign you are on the Home view. You can browse and open projects on this page along with access both your Account and App Settings.
The Sidebar can be expanded/collapsed and provides a variety of view options so you can access your projects.
Primary View
Once you open a Project you are taken to the main Codesign View which is split into a 3d view and the 2d working view.
Primary Toolbar - across the top of the screen:
- On the left you have:
- The Home button which displays the Project name and takes you to the Home view
- The View buttons to take you to various views (see below)
- The File menu which provides access to the various import and export options within Codesign
- The Project Settings button
- The Display Settings button
- The right hand side provides access to the Usage, View and Datum Palettes along with Sharing and Support

Click the arrow to expand the View toolbar to change between the Main, Sketchbook, Brief and Report views (explained below)
Main Toolbar - on the left hand side when configured for right-handed users
This toolbar contains the Tools you use to create your design.
- The first button provides access to the settings for the currently selected item, or if no item is selected the defaults for the currently active Tool
- Next the active Tool is shown
- The Arrow button will expand the Toolbar
- The Delete button deletes the selected items

Undo/Bottom Toolbar - bottom left of the screen when configured for right-handed users
This toolbar contains Undo / Redo along with view related buttons.
Re-centre 3d will update the view based on the centre of the current design. If you want to centre on a specific building, select the building and the tap the Re-centre 3d button.
By default the Main Views (3d and 2d) are both shown, buttons in the Bottom Toolbar allow you to show/hide these views where you want to maximise the size of a single view. You can also adjust the size of the Main Views by dragging the splitter between the views.
A long-press on the 3d button provides access to orthographic views:

- This toolbar shows different tools based on the action you are performing
Sketch View
The third button on the Primary Toolbar provides access to the Sketch book.
Brief View
The fourth button on the Primary Toolbar provides access to the Brief Page. Currently this view provides access to managing the Brief, Space Types and Usage Types in the Project.
Report View
The fifth button on the Primary Toolbar provides access to the Report Page where you can see a complete overview of the project areas and usage.
